Michael started learning the bagpipes at age 11 with his local pipe band in Beeston Nottingham and has now over 45 years experience as a competitive piper. Michael is one of a very few pipers based in England to achieve grade 1 status and has over 20 years experience playing at this level. During his piping career, Michael has played a countless weddings, funerals, birthday parties and corporate events all over the UK and abroad and is very conversant with all the traditional Scottish protocol expected at such events.
